On 4th April 2025, Evesham Vale of Sanctuary organised a trip to Market Hall Museum in Warwick. The highlight of the visit was the Unity Dress — a stunning, hand-crafted garment created by refugees from around the world. The dress tells a powerful story of hope, unity, and belonging — values that deeply resonate with the people we support.

For many in our group, the visit was more than just a day out; it was a celebration of creativity and shared identity. Several of our members have sewing and craft skills themselves, and seeing this piece of art displayed in a public museum was both uplifting and encouraging. It reminded us how personal stories and talents can come together to create something truly meaningful.

We’re grateful to the museum for hosting such an inspiring exhibition and for giving our community the chance to feel seen, valued, and connected.
