Our Women’s Group meets every Friday from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Sanctuary Centre. It’s a safe, friendly, and supportive space just for women — a place to relax, connect, and enjoy time together.

Each week offers something a little different. We enjoy a range of activities including arts and crafts, creative workshops, group discussions, cookery, where we prepare and share traditional dishes from different cultures. It’s a joyful way to share stories, skills, and flavours from around the world. Occasionally, we also arrange outings to local events and places of interest to help the women learn more about our area and its history and geography.

The group is open to all women, including refugees and asylum seekers. Whether you come every week or just occasionally, you’ll always be greeted with warmth and kindness.
