To mark 80 years since VE Day, our Sanctuary Centre window in Evesham has been decorated to honour the countries and communities that helped bring peace to Europe after the Second World War.

The display highlights the historic moment of 8 May 1945 – the day victory in Europe was declared – and acknowledges the contributions of many nations around the world.

As a community that welcomes people affected by war and persecution, this tribute connects the past with the present — reminding us all of the ongoing importance of unity, peace, and international solidarity.
