Evesham Vale Welcomes Refugees Joins Royal Foundation’s ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service

On Sunday, 7th December, members of Evesham Vale Welcomes Refugees proudly participated in the Royal Foundation’s special ‘Together at Christmas Community Carol Service’ at All Saints Church, Evesham. The event, hosted by the Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire, celebrated kindness, community spirit, and those who have gone above and beyond to support others.

Our delegation included Jean, Don, David, Rose, Aliyeh, Ilhama, Mehran, Arghavan, Zeenat, Attaullah Khan and their children . We were warmly welcomed by the Lord-Lieutenant at the church and joined the congregation for a beautiful carol service led by The Archdeacon of Worcester, The Venerable Mark Badger, with music from the Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra and Harvington Singers.

Later, at the Town Hall, we had the honour of meeting the Lord-Lieutenant and her husband as well the Mayor and Mayoress of Evesham again and capturing a memorable group photo. This occasion truly reflected the spirit of unity and gratitude that defines our community.
