EVWR and Quilts 4 You were happy to take part in the annual International Women’s Day celebration in Worcester on Saturday, 7 March.

As always, our quilts were much admired. Sharon and her team had many positive conversations with visitors about the quilts and the stories behind the women who made them.

The refugee women who joined us had a lovely day. They met new people, saw Morris dancing for the first time, learned some new English words and found out about different organisations that support women across Worcestershire.

Ros also had the chance to do some great networking during the event. We hope some of these new connections will lead to future integration projects and more opportunities for the women we support.

It was a wonderful day celebrating women, sharing stories and building community.
