On 22nd April 2025, we were proud to represent Evesham Vale Welcomes Refugees at the Evesham Town Parishioners’ Meeting, held at the Town Hall and hosted by the Mayor of Evesham. This annual gathering offers local residents and organisations an opportunity to hear updates on town affairsand share community news.

We set up a welcoming display showcasing our community projects — including our Ladies’ Sewing Group, Community Garden, and support services for refugees and asylum seekers. Our beautiful quilt, handmade by members of the sewing group, was the centrepiece of the stall and drew lots of interest and compliments!

We shared information about our English and Maths classes, women’s group, legal and health support, and the importance of making Evesham a truly welcoming town for all.
